Peningkatan Kinerja Karyawan melalui Kepemimpinan, Lingkungan Kerja dan Komitmen

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji kinerja karyawan yang dipengaruhi oleh variabel kepemimpinan, lingkungan kerja dan komitmen organisasi. Untuk upaya meningkatkan kinerja karyawan bisa distimulus dari berbagai cara, diantaranya meningkatkan komitmen karyawan, memainkan peran kepemimpinan dan menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang mendukung. Lingkungan kerja yang mendukung dapat mempengaruhi peningkatan kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain kuesioner dengan sampel 99 karyawan Koperasi Simpan Pinjam (KSP) di Kota Demak. Penelitian ini menunjukkan hasil yang positif dan siginifikan secara parsial dari pengaruh variabel kepemimpinan, lingkungan dan komitmen pada kinerja karyawan. Disisi lain, penelitian ini juga menemukan bahwa kepemimpinan tidak berpengaruh pada komitmen organisasi, karena belum ada indikator kepemimpinan yang jelas untuk mempengaruhi komitmen karyawan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan, bahwa semua hipotesis terdukung kecuali satu hipotesis yang menguji pengaruh kepemimpinan pada komitmen organisasi.


This research investigates employees’ performance which is influenced by leadership, work environment and organizational commitment. Employees’ performance can be developed by giving various stimulus, for example improving employees’ commitment, enhancing the role of leader and creating suitable work environment. This study is exploratory research and questioners are used to collect data from 99 respondents who are the employees of Koperasi Simpan Pinjam Karya Niaga Demak. The result shows that leadership, work environment and commitment have positive and significant effect to performance. Meanwhile, leadership does not have significant influence to organizational commitment, it seems that there is no clear leadership indicators that can be used to influence employees’ commitment.
