PENGARUH MODEL PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE PICTURE AND PICTURE BERBASIS VIDEO ANIMASI TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS KELAS 8 DI SMP N 36 SEMARANG

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian eksperimen. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah Quasi Experimental Design tipe Nonequivalent Control Group Design, dengan populasi seluruh siswa kelas VIII di SMP Negeri 36 Semarang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen lebih tinggi dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol. Hal itu ditunjukkan dari data hasil belajar siswa pada kelas eksperimen dengan nilai mean sebesar 87,50. Sedangkan hasil belajar di kelas kontrol dengan nilai mean sebesar 79,22. Pada pengujian hipotesis diperoleh t hitung 4,022 > t tabel 1,998 sehingga  diterima atau ada pengaruh. Pengujian hasil analisis menggunakan uji independen sampel t test menunjukkan hasil Sig. (2-tailed) = 0,000 < 0,05. Sehingga dalam penelitian ini  diterima dan  ditolak, artinya penggunaan model picture and picture berbasis media video animasi berpengaruh baik terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas VIII SMP Negeri 36 Semarang. 

This study uses a quantitative approach to the type of experimental research. The research design used was a Quasi Experimental Design of the Nonequivalent Control Group Design type, with a population of all VIII grade students at SMP Negeri 36 Semarang. Data collection techniques in this study used multiple choice tests. The results showed that student learning outcomes in the experimental class were higher than those in the control class. This was shown from the data on student learning outcomes in the experimental class with a mean value of 87.50. While the learning outcomes in the control class with a mean value of 79.22. In testing the hypothesis obtained t count 4.022 > t table 1.998 so that H_a is accepted or there is an influence. Testing the results of the analysis using an independent sample t test showed the results of Sig. (2-tailed) = 0.000 < 0.05. So that in this study H_a was accepted and H_o was rejected, meaning that the use of picture and picture models based on animated video media had a good effect on social studies learning outcomes for class VIII students of SMP Negeri 36 Semarang.
