KUALITAS PENGELOLAAN KELAS DAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR GEOGRAFI SISWA KELAS XI SMA NEGERI KOTA TEGAL TAHUN PELAJARAN 2013/2014

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kualitas pengelolaan kelas dan motivasi belajar geografi siswa kelas XI di SMA Negeri Kota Tegal. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui angket dan observasi. Hasil dari penelitian adalah (1) Kualitas pengelolaan kelas yang terdapat di seluruh SMA Negeri di kota Tegal termasuk dalam kriteria sangat baik dengan prosentase sebesar 84,31% (2) Motivasi belajar geografi siswa yang terdapat di seluruh SMA Negeri di Kota Tegal termasuk dalam kriteria sangat baik dengan prosentase sebesar 81,6% Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa semakin tinggi kualitas pengelolaan kelas maka semakin tinggi pula motivasi belajar siswa dalam mengikuti kegiatan pembelajaran di dalam kelas.

 

This research is  intended to knowing how the effect of the quality of classroom management toward the students’ motivation in learning geography at the eleventh grade students of State Senior High School in Tegal in academic year 2013/2014. This research using quantitative descriptive method with questionnaires and observation as the technique of collecting the data. The result of this research are (1) The quality of classroom management in all of State Senior High School in Tegal included into a good criteria with the presentage is 84,31 % (2) The students’ motivation in learning Geography in all of State Senior High School in Tegal Tegal included into a good criteria with the presentage is 81,6%, so the hyphothesis is accepted with the higher presentage is 0,243 or 2,43%.
