Studi Eksplorasi Potensi Pantai Dasun sebagai Destinasi Wisata di Kecamatan Lasem Kabupaten Rembang

Abstract

The tourist destinations in Lasem Subdistrict are dominated by beach tourism, but there are still potential but
untapped beaches. The purpose of this study is to (1) Identify the potential of Dasun Beach, (2) Analyze the
population's understanding of the potential of the Beach (3) Evaluate the suitability of Dasun Beach as a tourist
destination. The research location was carried out in Dasun Village, Lasem District, Rembang Regency. The
population in this study were the residents of Dasun Village and the physical condition of Dasun Beach, with
the sampling technique being purposive sampling. Data collection techniques used are 1) Observation 2) Interview
3) Questionnaire. Data analysis was performed using quantitative descriptive methods to describe all variables
and explained with numbers through tables. The results of this study indicate that: 1) The reason for Dasun
Beach has not been used as a tourist destination, it is very difficult to get into Dasun Beach. Access to the beach
can only be passed by motorbikes. Local government attention is also lacking in access to Dasun Beach so that
this beach has not been utilized properly. Tourism facilities and infrastructure in Dasun Village are still
concentrated in the Green Open Space of Taman Dasun and have not yet arrived at Dasun Beach itself. 2)
Community understanding of the potential of the beach is quite good seen from participation in managing
tourism in the village of Dasun.

Destinasi wisata di Kecamatan Lasem didominasi oleh wisata Pantai namun masih terdapat pantai
yang potensial tapi belum termanfaatkan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk (1)
Mengidentifikasi potensi Pantai Dasun, (2) Menganalisis pemahaman penduduk tentang potensi
Pantai (3) Mengevaluasi kesesuaian Pantai Dasun sebagai destinasi wisata. Lokasi penelitian
dilakukan di Desa Dasun Kecamatan Lasem Kabupaten Rembang. Populasi dalam penelitian ini
adalah Penduduk Desa Dasun dan kondisi fisik Pantai Dasun, dengan Teknik pengambilan sampel
yaitu purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu 1) Observasi 2)
Wawancara 3) Angket. Analisis data yang dilakukan dengan metode deskriptif kuantitatif untuk
mendiskripsikan semua variabel dan di jelaskan dengan angka melalui tabelHasil dari penelitian ini
menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Alasan Pantai Dasun sampai sekarang belum dijadikan sebagai destinasi
wisata yaitu akses masuk ke dalam Pantai Dasun yang sangat sulit. Akses masuk ke Pantai hanya
bisa dilalui oleh motor. Perhatian pemerintah daerah juga kurang terhadap akses ke Pantai Dasun
sehingga pantai ini belum termanfaatkan secara sempurna. Sarana dan prasarana wisata di Desa
Dasun masih terpusat di RTH (Ruang Terbuka Hijau) Taman Dasun belum sampai di Pantai Dasun
itu sendiri. 2) Pemahaman masyarakat tentang potensi pantai cukup baik dilihat dari partisipasi
dalam mengelola pariwisata di Desa Dasun.
