Implementasi Metode Inquiry Pada Pembelajaran Jarak Jauh Materi Lithosfer Siswa Kelas X IPS di SMA N 1 Sulang Kabupaten Rembang

Abstract

The aims of this study were to find out the efforts to apply themethod inquiry to distance learning, the
implementation of distance learning using themethod inquiry could increase the activity of class X social
studies students, the level of effectiveness of the application of themethod inquiry in distance learning for
class X IPS students at SMA N 1 Sulang. Data collection tools and techniques are: observation method,
interview method, and documentation method. Test the validity of the data using the data credibility test.
The data analysis technique used descriptive analytic method. The results of the study show that the
application of the inquiry method during distance learning of lithosphere material is very effective because
students are very enthusiastic and can think critically in solving problems and are supported by
learning resources, media and teacher delivery methods in such a way and information can be extracted
easily through technology. which is modern today. Students' academic scores after using the inquiry
method were good and improved so that the teacher could continue the implementation of this inquiry
method for the next material. Because the teacher and students have carried out the inquiry method
according to the stages, the implementation of this inquiry method can run smoothly until the last meeting

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui upaya penerapan metode inquiry pada pembelajaran
jarak jauh, pelaksanaan pembelajaran jarak jauh dengan metode inquiry dapat meningkatkan
aktivitas siswa kelas X IPS, dan tingkat efektifan penerapan metode inquiry pada pembelajaran
jarak jauh siswa kelas X IPS di SMA N 1 Sulang. Alat dan teknik pengumpulan data berupa:
metode observasi, metode wawancara, dan metode dokumentasi. Uji validitas data dengan
menggunakan uji kredibilitas data. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode deskriptif
analitik. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa penerapan metode inquiry saat pembelajaran
jarak jauh materi lithosfer sangat berjalan dengan efektif karena siswa sangat antusitas dan
dapat berfikir secara kritis dalam memecahan masalah serta didukung oleh sumber belajar,
media dan cara penyampaian guru sedemikian rupa dan informasi dapat digali dengan mudah
melalui teknologi yang modern saat ini. Nilai akademik siswa setelah menggunakan metode
inquiry bagus dan meningkat sehingga guru dapat melanjutkan implementasi metode inquiry
ini untuk materi berikutnya. Karena guru dan siswa sudah melakukan metode inquiry sesuai
dengan tahapannya maka dalam implementasi metode inquiry ini dapat berjalan lancar
sampai pertemuan terakhir.
