STUDI KOMPARASI MIND MAPPING DENGAN NHT PEMBELAJARAN GEOGRAFI MATERI HIDROSFER KELAS VII

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui (1) Untuk mengetahui hasil belajar menggunakan model mind mapping. (2) Untuk mengetahui hasil belajar menggunakan model NHT. (3) Untuk membandingkan hasil belajar siswa antara penggunaan model mind mapping dengan model NHT pembelajaran geografi materi hidrosfer kelas VII SMP 4 Klaten tahun 2011/2012. Penentuan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VIIA dan VIIB SMP 4 Klaten. Metode pengumpulan data dengan metode dokumentasi, tes, dan observasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu uji t. Hasil penelitian yaitu: (1) Rata-rata hasil kognitif kelas mind mapping 80,86, hasil afektif siswa pertemuan 1, 2, 3, 4 sebesar 57, 67, 74, 93. (2) Rata-rata hasil kognitif kelas NHT 76,92, hasil afektif pertemuan 1, 2, 3, 4 sebesar 50, 54, 74, 89. (3) Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan uji t diperoleh nilai thitung= 2.731 > 2,056. Jadi terdapat perbedaaan hasil belajar signifikan pada kelas mind mapping dengan kelas numbered heads together (NHT). Ketuntasan belajar kelas VIIA hasil pre-test siswa mencapai KKM ≥ 71 hanya 7 siswa (28%) dan hasil post-test sebanyak 25 siswa (100%), sedangkan kelas NHT (VIIB) hasil pre-test mencapai KKM ≥ 71 hanya 8 siswa (32%) dan hasil post-test sebanyak 22 siswa (88%). Dapat disimpulkan terdapat perbedaan hasil belajar IPS geografi materi hidrosfer penggunaan model mind maaping dengan model Numbered Heads Together (NHT).

(3) To compare student learning outcomes between the use of mind mapping models with NHT model of learning geography class VII hydrosphere material SMP 4 Klaten year 2011/2012. Determination of sample using purposive sampling technique. The sample of this research is VIIA and VIIB graders SMP 4 Klaten. Method of data collection methods documentation, testing, and observation. The data analysis technique used is the t test. The results of the study are: (1) Average yield cognitive mind mapping class 80.86, affective outcomes of students meeting 1, 2, 3, 4 by 57, 67, 74, 93. (2) Average 76.92 NHT grade cognitive outcomes, affective outcomes meeting 1, 2, 3, 4 for 50, 54, 74, 89. (3) Based on the results of the test calculations obtained tcount t = 2731> 2.056. So there are significant differences in learning outcomes in mind mapping classes with classes numbered heads together (NHT). Mastery learning class VIIa pre-test results of students achieving ≥ 71 KKM only 7 students (28%) and post-test results by 25 students (100%), whereas grade NHT (VIIB) pre-test results achieved ≥ 71 KKM only 8 students (32%) and post-test results were 22 students (88%).
