Abstract

The purpose of this study was to describe the physical education teacher's perception of swimming lessons in elementary schools in Juwana District in 2021. This study used a qualitative research approach. The research location is an elementary school in the area around the Silugonggo River in Juwana District, which is 10 elementary schools. The target in this research is PJOK teachers who teach at schools that are research locations in Juwana District. Data collection can be done in various settings, various sources, and in various ways. Data collection techniques can be done by observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of data collection research can be concluded by the author that the perception of PJOK teachers on swimming lessons in elementary schools around the Silugonggo river in Juwana District has made swimming lessons one of the important lessons and needs to be given to elementary school students, even though there are obstacles in the field of facilities and infrastructure. In schools, swimming lessons can still be done outside the school environment. And online learning activities are also not an obstacle to providing material about swimming lessons.
