Simulasi Pengaruh Program Vaksinasi dalam Penyebaran Penyakit Difteri di Indonesia

Abstract

Penyakit difteri disebabkan oleh bakteri Corynebacterium diphtheria yang menyerang sistem pernapasan bagian atas yaitu hidung dan tenggorokan. Indonesia merupakan negara ketiga terbanyak kasus difteri. Tahun 2016 terjadi 342 kasus difteri di Indonesia. Difteri menular secara langsung melalui cairan dari mulut atau hidung orang yang terinfeksi, dari jari-jari atau handuk dan dari ASI penderita. Vaksinasi difteri, pertusis, tetanus (DPT) digunakan untuk mencegah penyebaran penyakit tersebut. Dengan demikian, penyebaran penyakit difteri dengan memperhatikan vaksinasi DPT dapat digambarkan dengan model susceptible vaccinated infected recovered (SVIR). Dalam artikel ini model SVIR diformulasikan. Selanjutnya model ini diterapkan pada penyakit difteri di Indonesia dan dilakukan simulasi bagaimana pengaruh vaksinasi terhadap penyebaran penyakit tersebut. Model SVIR berupa sistem persamaan diferensial nonlinear orde satu. Model diterapkan pada kasus difteri di Indonesia dengan data sekunder tahunan dari Kemenkes RI tahun 2007-2016. Bedasar terapan model ini, simulasi menunjukkan program vaksinasi mampu menurunkan penderita difteri. Namun tahun 2030 Indonesia belum mencapai bebas penyakit diferi. Simulasi juga menunjukkan dengan menaikkan nilai laju vaksinasi dari 0.019614 menjadi 0.084579 diestimasikan Indonesia bebas difteri tahun 2030.
