Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsi kebutuhan pengembangan buku pengayaan menulis teks hasil observasi menurut persepsi guru dan siswa, mendeskripsi pengembangan buku pengayaan menulis teks hasil observasi, dan menguji keefektifan buku pengayaan menulis teks hasil observasi yang bermuatan nilai budaya lokal untuk siswa kelas VII SMP. Metode penelitian yang digunakan R&D dengan delapan tahapan, yakni (1) survei pendahuluan, (2) penyusunan buku-buku pengayaan, (3) awal pengembangan draf buku, (4) penyusunan draf buku, (5) validasi draf buku, (6) revisi dan perbaikan draf buku, (7) ujicoba terbatas, dan (8) deskripsi hasil penelitian. Hasil penelitian ini didasarkan pada hasil analisis angket kebutuhan pengembangan buku pengayaan menurut persepsi guru dan siswa, kemudian dirangkum menjadi prinsip-prinsip pengembangan buku pengayaan menulis teks hasil observasi yang meliputi pengembangan isi, penyajian, bahasa, dan grafika. Uji keefektifan dilakukan di kelas VII SMP 13 Semarang. Hasil uji ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikan pada ketiga kompetensi dasar menulis teks laporan pengamatan, teks deskriptif, dan teks eksposisi kurang dari 0,05. Ini berarti adanya perbedaan antara tes akhir dengan tes awal.

 

This research is aimed to describe the need of the development enrichment book in writing observation the result in teacher and student perception, describe the development of enrichment book in writing observation result text and verify the effectiveness of enrichment book in writing observation result text. The method used in eight steps, (1) earlier survey, (2) compile the principle, (3) earlier development book, (4) compile the book, (5) the validation book, (6) revision and improve, (7) limited try out, (8) describe the research result. This result is based on the necessity questioner analysis of the developing book of observation result text in teacher and student perception, then resume to the principal includes the development of the content, presenting material, language, and on a graph. The verification of the effectiveness has done in class of VII Semarang 13 junior high school. The result shows the significance score in 3 competences writing observation result text, descriptive text, and exposition text is less than 0,05. It means there is the difference between the last and the early test.
