Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk menghasilkan perangkat pembentukan karakter dan berpikir kritis menggunakan teori konstruktivisme dengan pendekatan inkuiri materi trigonometri kelas X valid, praktis dan efektif. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan menggunakan modifikasi Plomp. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan lembar validasi, lembar pengamatan keterampilan berpikir kritis dan karakter kerja keras, dan Tes Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis. Jenis perangkat pembelajaran yang dikembangkan adalah silabus, RPP, media pembelajaran, LKPD, Tes Kemampuan Kemampuan Berpikir Kritis. Teknik pengambilan data menggunakan lembar validasi, lembar pengamatan, dan Tes. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: (1) perangkat yang dikembangkan valid; (2) pembelajaran praktis ditandai dengan respon positif peserta didik dan kemampuan guru baik; (3) Efektifitas ditandai dengan (a) kemampuan berpikir kritis mencapai KKM yaitu 77,15 dan ketuntasan klasikal sebesar  80,77%; (b) karakter kerja keras dan keterampilan berpikir kritis secara bersama-sama berpengaruh positif terhadap kemampuan berpikir kritis sebesar 68,9%; dan c) karakter kerja keras dan keterampilan peserta didik mengalami peningkatan. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan tujuan pengembangan perangkat tercapai.

 

The aim of this research to generate the formation of character and critical thinking using constructivist theory of inquiry approach to trigonometry of class X valid, practical and effective. The type of research is used in this study is development research using modification of Plomp model. Technique of data collection by using validation sheet, observation sheet student’s hard work character and critical thinking skill and critical thinking ability test. Kinds of learning devices are developed syllabus, lesson plans, instructional media, students work sheets, and critical thinking ability test. The results are: (1) device developed valid; (2) practical learning is characterized by the positive response of students and good teachers ability, (3) Effectiveness characterized by (a) the ability of think critically is reached KKM by 77,15 and classical completeness by 80,77%, (b) the character of the hard work and critical thinking skills have had positive influence on the ability to think critically by 68.9%, and (c) the hard work character and critical thinking skills of students has increased. Based on the results of this reasearch is concluded the development goals achieved.
