Memiliki karier yang sukses merupakan impian semua mahasiswa dan hal tersebut menjadi tantangan tersendiri bagi mahasiswa untuk meraihnya. Penelitian ini berfokus pada career engagement yang merupakan salah satu faktor yang mempengaruhi efikasi diri yang dalam penelitian ini dispesifikan menjadi efikasi diri keputusan karier. Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk menganalisis hubungan antara efikasi diri keputusan karier dengan career engagement pada mahasiswa FIP UNNES. Subyek dalam penelitian ini yaitu 320 mahasiswa FIP UNNES yang dipilih secara stratified random sampling. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu korelasi Pearson Product Moment. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif dan signifikan antara efikasi diri keputusan karier dengan career engagement pada mahasiswa FIP UNNES. Hasil temuan ini memberikan implikasi bagi layanan konseling karier di tingkat perguruan tinggi khsusunya konselor di perguruan tinggi yang diwadahi oleh pusat pengembangan karier mahasiswa dapat menyusun program kerja sesuai dengan hasil need assesment mahasiswa yang dapat meningkatkan efikasi diri keputusan karier.


Abstract


Having a successful career is the dream of all students, and it is a challenge for students to achieve it. This study focuses on career engagement which is one of the factors that influence self-efficacy which in this study is specified as career decision self-efficacy. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between career decision self-efficacy and career engagement in FIP UNNES students. The subjects in this study were 320 FIP UNNES students elected by stratified random sampling. The research method used is the Pearson Product Moment correlation. The results showed that there was a positive and significant relationship between career decision self-efficacy and career engagement in FIP UNNES students. These findings have implications for career counseling services at the tertiary level, especially counselors in tertiary institutions facilitated by the student career development center can arrange work programs according to the results of student needs assessments that can increase career decision self-efficacy.
