KEEFEKTIFAN MODEL PEMBELAJARAN EXAMPLE NON EXAMPLE TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPS SISWA KELAS IV

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membuktikan keefektifan penggunaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Example Non Example terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV Gugus VI Hasanudin Kabupaten Sukoharjo dibandingkan model pembelajaran Talking Stick. Penelitian berjenis eksperimen ini menggunakan Quasi Experimental Design jenis Non-equivalent Control Group Design. Populasi penelitian adalah 123 siswa kelas IV SD Gugus VI Hasanudin dan sampel penelitian adalah 22 siswa SDN Godog 02 (kelas uji coba), 18 siswa SDN Kemasan 03 (kelas eksperimen), dan 13 siswa SDN Bakalan 01 (kelas kontrol) yang dipilih melalui teknik Cluster Random Sampling. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan teknik tes dan nontes. Hasil penelitian membuktikan bahwa penerapan model pembelajarankooperatif tipe Example Non Example efektif terhadap hasil belajar IPS siswa kelas IV Gugus VI Hasanudin Kabupaten Sukoharjo dibandingkan model pembelajaran Talking Stick. Peneliti menyarankan guru untuk melakukan variasi penggunaan model dan media pembelajaran saat melaksanakan pembelajaran IPS.
The purpose of this research is to prove the effectiveness of Cooperatif Learning Model Example Non Example Type to class IV Gugus Hasanudin students’s IPS learning outcome than Talking Stick Learning Model.The design kind of this experimental research is Quasi Experimental Design-Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Research population is 123 students of class IV Gugus Hasanudin and the sample is 22 students of SDN Godog 02 (sample class), 18 students of SDN Kemasan 03 (experimental students), and 13 students of SDN Bakalan 01 (control class). They are choosed by Probability Sampling-Cluster Random Sampling Tecnique. Data of this research was got from test and nontest technique. The statistic analistic prove that Cooperatif Learning Model Example Non Example Type is effective to improve students’s IPS learning outcome better than Talking Stick Learning Model. Researcher suggest teacher use variety of learning model and media for teaching IPS.
