PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MEMBACA LANCAR AKSARA JAWA MELALUI MODEL WORD SQUARE KELAS V
Abstract
Tujuan umum penelitian: meningkatkan keterampilan membaca lancar aksara Jawa siswa kelas VA SDN Purwoyoso 03 Semarang. Tujuan khusus penelitian: meningkatkan keterampilan guru, aktivitas siswa, dan keterampilan membaca lancar aksara Jawa siswa kelas VA SDN Purwoyoso 03 dengan menggunakan model Word Square. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas ini dilaksanakan selama 3 siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa kelas VA. Hasil penelitian ini adalah model Word Square dapat meningkatkan keterampilan guru, aktivitas siswa, dan keterampilan membaca lancar aksara Jawa siswa kelas VA. Simpulan penelitian ini yaitu model Word Square dapat meningkatkan keterampilan guru, aktivitas siswa, dan keterampilan membaca lancar aksara Jawa siswa kelas VA SDN Purwoyoso 03 Semarang. Saran peneliti sebaiknya guru dapat mengembangkan penerapan model Word Square pada pelajaran lainnya.
The general purpose of research: improve the skill of reading Javanese script fluently in VA grade of Purwoyoso 03 elementary school Semarang. Specific purpose of research: improve the teacher’s skill, student activities, and skill of reading Javanese script fluently in VA grade of Purwoyoso 03 elementary school with Word Square model. Classroom Action Research was conducted in 3 cycles. The subjects of this research is the teacher and VA grade’s student of Purwoyoso 03 elementary school Semarang. The results is Word Square model can improve teacher’s skill, student activities, and skill of reading Javanese script fluently in VA grade. The conclusions on of this research is the Word Square model can improving the teacher’s skill, student activities, and skill of reading Javanese script fluently in VA grade of Purwoyoso 03 elementary school Semarang. Researchers suggest that the teachers can develop the implementation of Word Square model to the other lessons.
