Abstrak


Berdasarkan data hasil belajar, observasi, dan wawancara didapat hasil belajar IPS belum mencapai KKM yang ditentukan hal tersebut disebabkan diantaranya keaktifan siswa masih kurang serta guru cenderung menggunakan metode ceramah, tanya jawab dan diskusi yang belum optimal. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk menguji keefektifan  model Team Assisted Individualization terhadap hasil belajar IPS Kelas V materi proklamasi kemerdekaan Indonesia SD Gugus Gajah Mungkur. Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian eksperimen dengan desain nonequivalent control group design. Teknik yang digunakan simple random sampling. Data analisis menggunakan  uji t dengan rumus independent sample t test  dengan taraf signifikasi 5% (0,05) diperoleh hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa (1) harga thitung yaitu 3.674 lebih besar dibandingkan harga ttabel yaitu 0,2706 sehingga dapat diketahui terdapat perbedaan rata-rata antara kelas kontrol dan  eksperimen dengan rata-rata lebih tinggi pada kelas eksperimen. (2) gain ternormalisasi pada kelas eksperimen 0,450121655 termasuk dalam kategori sedang, sedangkan kelas kontrol 0,225581395 termasuk dalam kategori rendah. Gain ternormalisasi yang lebih tinggi pada kelas eksperimen menunjukan bahwa peningkatan hasil belajar IPS kelas V materi proklamasi kemerdekaan Indonesia. (3) keaktifan siswa pada kelas eksperimen sangat tinggi dengan rata-rata 82,23%. Simpulan penelitian ini yaitu model Team Assisted Individualization efektif digunakan pada pembelajaran IPS kelas V materi proklamasi kemerdekaan Indonesia SD Gugus Gajah Mungkur.


 


Abstract


Based on the learning result, observation, and interview data, social science learning results have not reached the specified KKM. This is due to the lack of student activeness, as well as teachers tend to use lecture, questions and answers, and discussion methods that have not been optimal.The objective of this research is to examine the effectiveness of Team Assisted Individualization model in social science learning achievement of grade v on proklamasi kemerdekaan Indonesia material SD Gugus Gajah Mungkur. This research implements experimental research through nonequivalent control group design. The technique which is used in this research is simple random sampling. The data analyzing by t-test with formula independent sample t test in significance range 5% (0,05) finds that  (1) tcount is 3.674 bigger than ttable 0,2706, so it can be known there is difference of mean between control and experimental class which experiment class gets the higher mean score  (2) the normalized gain in the experimental class 0,450121655 was included in the moderate category, while the control class 0,225581395 was included in the low category. The higher normalized gains in the experimental class indicate that the improvement in the social science learning outcomes of grade V on proklamasi kemerdekaan Indonesia material was low. (3) students' activity in the experimental class was very high with an average of 82.23%. The conclusion of this research was Team Assisted Individualization model was effectively implemented in social science of grade V on proklamasi kemerdekaan Indonesia material SD Gugus Gajah Mungkur.
