PERAN GURU DAN LINGKUNGAN SOSIAL TERHADAP TINDAKAN BULLYING SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan bentuk – bentuk tindakan Bullying yang di lakukan siswa kelas IV SD, pengaruh lingkungan sosial terhadap tindakan Bullying yang dilakukan siswa kelas IV SD, dan Peran guru dalam menghadapi tindakan bullying siswa kelas IV SD. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan desain deskriptif kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik analisi tema. Uji keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber, dan triangulasi tehnik. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan siswa kelas IV SD. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan Bentuk bullying yang terjadi berupa bullying berupa kontak fisik langsung berupa menjewer dan merusak barang –barang yang dimiliki orang, kontak verbal langsung berupa memaki, mengejek baik berkenaan dengan fisik ataupun orang tua, memberi julukan, mengolok-olok, menyoraki, berkata kasar, dan menyoraki, kontak nonverbal langsung berupa melihat sinis kepada sesama teman, dan kontak nonverbal tidak langsung pengucilan dalam bermain. Pengaruh lingkungan pergulan siswa memberikan dampak yang positif dan negatif, terlihat yaitu meniru atau imitasi dari lingkungan pergaulan dikelas. Peran guru pun dalam mengatasi tindakan bullying sangat bervariasi caranya.

This study aimed to describe the forms of bullying behaviors by fourth graders of an elementary school, the effect of social environment on bullying behaviors by fourth graders of an elementary school, and the role of teachers in dealing with bullying behaviors by fourth graders of an elementary school. This study employed a qualitative method with qualitative descriptive design. The techniques of data collection used observation, interviews, and documentation. The technique of data analysis used theme analysis technique. The test of data validity used source triangulation and technique triangulation. The subjects of this study were teachers and students of 4th grade at an elementary school. The results of this study indicated that the form of bullying included direct physical contacts in the form of pulling others and damaging others’ things, direct verbal contacts in the form of yelling, mocking related to physical appearance and student’s parents, calling with inappropriate name, making fun of others, yelling, and saying something rude, direct nonverbal contacts in the form of looking the fellow friends cynically, and indirect nonverbal contacts such as exclusion when playing. The effect of students’ social environment gave a positive and negative impacts, seen from students imitation behavior as an influence of classroom social environment. The roles of teachers could be very in dealing with bullying behaviors.
