PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA CETAKAN TOPENG BERBASIS NILAI KARAKTER TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MEMBUAT TOPENG

Latar belakang permasalahan penelitian adalah pemanfaatan media pembelajaran belum optimal dan nilai rata-rata hasil belajar praktik membuat topeng rendah. Tujuan penelitian adalah: 1) mengetahui desain pengembangan media cetakan topeng, 2) menguji kelayakan media cetakan topeng, 3) menguji keefektifan media cetakan topeng. Jenis penelitian adalah Research and Development (RnD) menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik tes dan non tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif, uji hipotesis dan N-gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan: 1) desain produk cetakan topeng yang dikembangkan adalah topeng Punakawan dari Provinsi Jawa Tengah, 2) kelayakan media dinyatakan sangat layak oleh ahli materi sebesar 94,44% dan ahli media sebesar 91,00%, 3) keefektifan media dilihat dari hasil tanggapan siswa dan guru dengan kriteria sangat baik, peningkatan hasil belajar diperoleh N-gain 0,57 dengan kriteria sedang dan hasil uji t-test one sample dengan P value (0,000 < 0,05). Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah media cetakan topeng Punakawan sangat layak digunakan dan efektif dalam mendukung tercapainya hasil belajar siswa materi membuat topeng secara optimal.
Abstract
The study aimed to examine the feasibility and effectiveness of mask mold media based on the value of characters on the learning outcome of material masked mold and to know the percentage of character value achievement that was developed using mask mold media. This type of research was Research and Development (RnD) used a quantitative approach. The data collection technique used test and non-test technique. Data analysis techniques used descriptive analysis, hypothesisis test and N-gain. The outcome of the research shows: 1) mask mold product design was developed was Punakawan mask from Central Java Province, 2) the media appropriateness was declared very feasible by material expert which was 94,44% and media expert which was 91,00%, 3) the effectiveness of the media seen from the outcome of students and teacher responses included in very good criteria, the improvement of learning results obtained N-gain 0,57 with moderate criteria and the outcome of t-test one sample with P value (0,000 <0,050).The conclusion of this research was Punakawan mask mold media was very feasible to be used and effective to optimalized fifth grade students of Genuk 02 primary school outcome in mask making subject.
