Abstrak
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mengembangkan, menguji kelayakan, dan menguji keefektifan media
permainan monopoli berbasis STAD pada muatan PPKn. Selain itu penelitian bertujuan untuk
menguji kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa pada muatan PPKn. Metode yang digunakan dalam
penelitian ini Research and Development (R&D). Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas V SDN
Pekuwon Pati. Sampel penelitian ini menggunakan teknik sampel jenuh. Hasil dari penelitian ini yaitu
(1) pengembangan media permainan monopoli berbasis STAD menggunakan tahapan penelitian
pengembangan yang disederhanakan menjadi 8 tahapan. (2) media permainan monopoli berbasis
STAD pada muatan PPKn untuk siswa kelas V telah memenuhi kriteria sangat layak digunakan pada
pembelajaran di kelas (3) media permainan monopoli berbasis STAD pada muatan PPKn terbukti
efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar, dan kemampuan berpikir kreatif.


The aims of this study are to develop, to test the feasibility, and to test the effectiveness of STAD-based
monopoly game media on civic education content. Moreover, the aim of this study is also to test the
students' creative thinking skills in the civic education content. The method used in this study was
Research and Development (R&D). The subject of this study was the students at the fifth grade in
SDN Pekuwon Pati. The purposive sample technique and saturated sample were used to take the
sample of this study. The findings of this study are: (1) the development of STAD-based monopoly
game media using the stages of development research which are simplified into 8 stages. (2) STAD-
based monopoly game media on civic education content for students at class V have met a very feasible
criteria to use in the learning activity in the class (3) STAD-based monopoly playing media on civic
education content has been proven to be effective in improving learning outcomes, and creative
thinking ability of the students.
