KEEFEKTIFAN MULTIMEDIA PEMBELAJARAN BERBASIS GAME TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR IPA

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji keefektifan multimedia pembelajaran berbasis game terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD Gugus Budi Utomo Kecamatan Mijen Kota Semarang. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian eksperimen dengan desain quasi eksperimental design. Sampel sebanyak 44 siswa kelas V yang diambil menggunakan cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes, observasi, wawancara, dan angket . Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji prasyarat analisis, meliputi uji normalitas dan homogenitas data, selanjutnya analisis akhir menggunakan uji t, uji z, dan uji n gain. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dari hasil uji hipotesis dengan menggunakan independent sample t-test, diperoleh nilai thitung > ttabel (2.079 > 0,044) dan nilai signifikansi < 0,05 (0,044 < 0,05), sehingga H0 ditolak. Hasil uji-z diperoleh nilai Zhitung (1,137 > 0,05). Hasil tersebut didukung dengan skor N-Gain sebesar 0,36 (kategori sedang). Dari hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa multimedia pembelajaran berbasis game efektif terhadap hasil belajar IPA siswa kelas V SD Gugus Budi Utomo Kecamatan Mijen Kota Semarang.
This study aims to examine the effectiveness of multimedia game-based learning on the science content of fifth grade students at State Elementary Budi Utomo Cluster in Mijen Subdistrict, Semarang City. This research uses experimental research with quasi experimental design. A sample of 44 grade V students who used random sampling cluster. Data writing techniques use tests, interviews, questionnaires and documentary studies. Data analysis techniques used the prerequisite analysis test, including normality test and homogeneity data, then the final analysis using t- test, z-test, and n gain test. The results showed that the results of hypothesis testing using independent sample t-test obtained the value of tcount > t table (2.079 > 0.044) and the significance value < 0.05 (0.044 < 0.05), H0 was rejected. The z-test results were obtained by the value Zcount > sign. (1.137 > 0.05). These results are supported by an gain score of 0.36 (medium category). From the results of the study it can be concluded that the multimedia game-based learning effectively to the learning outcomes of the science content of fifth grade students at State Elementary Budi Utomo Cluster in Mijen Subdistrict, Semarang City.
