HUBUNGAN MOTIVASI BELAJAR DAN MINAT BACA DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR IPS

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar IPS, minat baca dengan hasil belajar IPS, dan motivasi belajar dan minat baca dengan hasil belajar IPS. Subjek penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas V SDN Gugus Dewi Sartika Kecamatan Bergas Kabupaten Semarang. Sampel dalam penelitian ini berjumlah 121 siswa yang diambil menggunakan teknik cluster random sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan angket, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan ada hubungan antara motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar IPS dengan perolehan rhitung > rtabel (0,746 > 0,1786), ada hubungan antara minat baca dengan hasil belajar IPS dengan perolehan rhitung > rtabel (0,763 > 0,1786), serta ada hubungan antara motivasi belajar dan minat baca dengan hasil belajar IPS dengan perolehan rhitung > rtabel (0,799 > 0,1786) dan F hitung sebesar 104,382. Kontribusi tingkat motivasi belajar dengan hasil belajar IPS sebesar 55,7%, minat baca dengan hasil belajar IPS sebesar 58,2%, serta motivasi belajar dan minat baca dengan hasil belajar IPS sebesar 63,9%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan antara motivasi belajar dan minat baca dengan hasil belajar IPS
Abstract
This study aims to determine the correlation between learning motivation with social studies learning outcomes, reading interest with social studies learning outcomes, and learning motivation and reading interest with social studies learning outcomes. The subjects of this study were fifth grade students at Primary School Cluster Dewi Sartika, Bergas District, Semarang Regency. The sample in this study amounted to 121 students taken using cluster random sampling techniques. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The results of data analysis showed that there was a correlation between learning motivation and social studies learning outcomes with the acquisition of rcount> rtable (0.746> 0.1786), there was a correlation between reading interest and social studies learning outcomes with the acquisition of rcount> rtable (0.763> 0.1786), and there was the correlation between learning motivation and reading interest with social studies learning outcomes with the acquisition of r count> r table (0.799> 0.1786) and F count of 104.382. The contribution of learning motivation level with Social Studies learning outcomes was 55.7%, reading interest with Social Studies learning outcomes was 58.2%, and learning motivation and reading interest with Social Studies learning outcomes were 63.9%. The conclusion from this study there was correlation between learning motivation and reading interest with social studies learning outcomes
