Abstrak


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan, menguji kelayakan, dan menguji keefektifan dari media pop up box BUDI (Budaya Indonesia). Jenis penelitian ini adalah Research and Development dengan menggunakan model menurut Sugiyono yang diadaptasi dari model pengembangan Borg and Gall. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan observasi, angket, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Kupang 01 Kecamatan Ambarawa berjumlah 28 siswa. Hasil pengembangan berupa media pop up box BUDI (Budaya Indonesia). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase yang didapat dari ahli materi dan media yaitu sebesar 91,66% (sangat layak) dan 88,33% (sangat layak). Hasil belajar kognitif siswa pada nilai pretest dan posttest dengan uji perbedaan rata-rata diperoleh sebesar 11,777. Hasil uji peningkatan rata-rata (N-gain) sebesar 0,528 dengan kriteria sedang. Simpulan penelitian ini adalah media pop up box BUDI berhasil dikembangkan, layak digunakan, serta efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa kelas IV pada materi keragaman budaya Indonesia.


Abstract


The research aims to developing, testing the feasibility, and testing the effectiveness of pop up box media of BUDI (Budaya Indonesia). The type of the research is Research and Development using a model according to Sugiyono which was adapted from the Borg and Gall model. The data collection techniques using observation, questionnaires, interview, documentation and test. The research subjects were the 4th grade students of SDN Kupang 01, Ambarawa District, totaling 28 students. The results of the development are the pop up box media of BUDI (Budaya Indonesia). The results showed that the percentage obtained from material and media experts was 91.66% (very feasible) and 88.33% (very feasible). The results of students' cognitive learning at the pretest and posttest scores with the mean difference test obtained were 11.777. The result of the average increase (N-gain) test is 0.528 with moderate criteria. The conclusion of this research is that the pop up box media of BUDI (Budaya Indonesia) has been successfully developed, suitable for use, and is effective in improving the learning outcomes of 4th grade students on the material of Indonesian cultural diversity.
