PENERAPAN MODEL PROBLEM BASED LEARNING (PBL) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KUALITAS PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA

Tujuan penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning (PBL) pada siswa kelas VA SDN Tambakaji 05 Semarang. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilaksanakan di SDN Tambakaji 05 Semarang. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus. Setiap siklus terdiri dari empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subyek penelitian ini adalah guru dan siswa kelas VA. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa : (1) keterampilan guru pada siklus I mendapat jumlah skor rata-rata 65,5 dengan kriteria sangat baik, siklus II meningkat dengan jumlah skor rata-rata 75 dengan kriteria sangat baik, (2) aktivitas siswa pada siklus I mendapat jumlah skor rata-rata 29,5 dengan kriteria baik, siklus II meningkat dengan jumlah skor rata-rata 35,05 dengan kriteria sangat baik, (3) hasil belajar siswa pada akhir siklus I mendapat nilai rata-rata 64,17 dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal sebesar 70,83 %, pada akhir siklus II hasil belajar siswa meningkat dengan nilai rata-rata 74,37 dan ketuntasan belajar klasikal 91,67 %. Ini menunjukkan bahwa indikator keberhasilan sudah tercapai sehingga penelitian ini dinyatakan berhasil. Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah melalui penerapan model Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika pada kelas VA SDN Tambakaji 05 Semarang..
The objective of the class action research is to improve the quality of mathematics learning through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) in grade VA of SDN 05 Tambakaji Semarang. The study was conducted in a class action SDN Tambakaji 05 Semarang. This study was conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation and reflection. The subjects of this study were teachers and students of class VA. The results showed that: (1) the skills of teachers in the cycle I got an average total score of 65.5 with the criteria very well, the second cycle increased with an average total score of 75 with the criteria very well, (2) the activity of students in the first cycle received an average total score of 29.5 with a good criterion, the second cycle increased with an average total score of 35.05 with the criteria very well, (3) student learning outcomes at the end of the first cycle scored an average of 64.17 and classical learning completeness by 70.83%, at the end of the second cycle student learning outcomes increased with the average value of 74.37 and 91.67% classical learning completeness. This suggests that the indicators of success were defined has been reached so that this study declared successful. The conclusion of this research is through the application of Problem Based Learning Model could improve the quality of mathematics learning in VA grade SDN 05 Tambakaji Semarang.
