Abstrak
Tujuan penelitian ini adalah meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPS kelas IVB SDI Siti Sulaechah kota Semarang melalui penerapan Model Think Pair Share berbantuan Puzzle. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini terdiri atas empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi yang dilaksanakan dalam tiga siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah guru dan 29 siswa kelas IVB. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan nontes. Teknik analisis data terdiri atas data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian keterampilan guru siklus 1 memperoleh skor 30, siklus 2 memperoleh skor 34, dan siklus 3 memperoleh skor 37. Aktivitas siswa siklus 1 memperoleh skor 17,86, siklus 2 memperoleh skor 19,7, dan siklus 3 memperoleh skor 23. Sedangkan ketuntasan belajar siswa pada siklus 1 sebesar 55,17 %, siklus 2 sebesar 72,41 %, dan siklus 3 sebesar 86,21 %. Model Think Pair Share (TPS) berbantuan Puzzle terbukti dapat meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran IPS IVB SDI Siti Sulaechah kota Semarang.

The research is aimed to improve learning quality in social science at fourth grade of SDI Siti Sulaechah Semarang through the application of Think Pair Share model by using Puzzle. This classroom action research consist of four stages: planning, acting, observing, and reflecting which implemented in three cycles. The research subjects are teachers and 29 students of fourth grade. The data is collected by using test and non-test. Data were analyzed using quantitative and qualitative analysis. The results showed that teacher’s skill in cycle 1 scored 30, in cycle 2 scored 34, and in cycle 3 scored 37. Students’ activity in cycle 1 scored 17.86, in cycle 2 scored 19.7, and in cycle 3 scored 23. Students’ learning result in cycle 1 was 55.17%, in cycle 2 was 72.41% and in cycle 3 was 86.21%. So, it was proved that the use of Think Pair Share model by using Puzzle has improved the learning quality in social science at fourth B grade of SDI Siti Sulaechah Semarang.
