PENGEMBANGAN BUKU PENGAYAAN APRESIASI TEKS FABEL BERMUATAN NILAI-NILAI KARAKTER BAGI SISWA SMP

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan buku pengayaan apresiasi teks fabel bermuatan nilai-nilai karakter bagi siswa SMP kelas VIII. Desain penelitian pengembangan yang dilakukan terdiri atas lima tahap, meliputi (1) potensi masalah, (2) pengumpulan data, (3) desain produk, (4) validasi desain, dan (5) revisi desain. Pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui angket kebutuhan dan angket uji validasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif kualitatif melalui pemaparan data dan verifikasi atau simpulan data. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku-buku pengayaan apresiasi teks fabel bermuatan nilai-nilai karakter yang dikembangkan termasuk kategori sangat baik. Hal tersebut disimpulkan dari hasil penilaian guru dan ahli serta tanggapan siswa. Setelah dinilai, buku tersebut diperbaiki sesuai saran dari siswa, guru, dan ahli sehingga diperoleh buku pengayaan yang sesuai dengan persepsi siswa dan guru serta materi pelajaran dalam kurikulum.

Abstract
The objective of the study was to develop supplementary book in appreciating character education-based fable text for eight graders at junior high school. The study was done through research and development research design which consisted of five stages including (1) problem potency, (2) data collecting, (3) product design, (4) design validation, and (5) design revision. The data collecting was done through need analysis questionnaire and validation test questionnaire. The data analysis technique was qualitative descriptive analysis through data description and verification or data conclusion. The result of the study showed that supplementary book in appreciating character education-based fable which had been developed was in good category. It was concluded from the result of experts and teachers assessments as well as the students’ responses. After being assessed, the book was revised based on the suggestions from the students, teachers, and experts. Therefore, it was obtained a supplementary book which was appropriate to the students’ and teachers’ perception as well as the teaching material in curriculum.
