CAREER INFORMATION SERVICE MODEL MULTIMEDIA-ASSISTED FOR INCREASING STUDENTS CAREER MATURITY

Penelitian ini dilakukan berdasarkan temuan empirik yang menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kematangan karir siswa kelas XI SMAN 1 Paguyangan  tahun pelajaran 2012/2013 mayoritas berada pada kategori sedang. Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan model layanan informasi karir untuk meningkatkan kematangan karir siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model layanan informasi karir berbantuan multimedia efektif  meningkatkan kematangan karir siswa. Faktanya pada uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa semua indikator kematangan karir siswa mengalami peningkatan signifikan setelah mendapatkan intervensi layanan informasi karir berbantuan multimedia.  Hasil pengolahan data menunjukkan bahwa semua indikator kematangan karir  memperoleh  nilai  signifikansi atau nilai probabilitas < 0,05. Artinya rata-rata kematangan karir siswa sebelum dan sesudah intervensi terdapat perbedaan atau mengalami peningkatan.

The research was conducted based on empirical findings that showed the career maturity level of  XI grade students of  SMAN 1 Paguyangan  academic year 2012/2013 had not been sufficiently high. This re-search aimed to produce a model of  career information service to increase students learning. The research results showed that the model of  career information service multimedia-assisted effectively increased the career maturity of  the students. In fact, the hypothesis test showed that all the indicators of  students’ career maturity had increased significantly after intervention a career information service multimedia-assisted intervention. The results of  processing the data showed that all indicators of  the career maturity gained the significance value or the probability value of  < 0.05. It means that between the mean of  students’ career maturity before and after the intervention there is a difference or in other words, the career maturity increased.
