MASALAH ANAK TAMAN KANAK-KANAK MENURUT GURU DAN ORANG TUA SERTA IMPLEMENTASIYA DALAM BIMBINGAN DAN KONSELING
Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) Mendeskripsikan masalah yang dialami anak TK menurut guru dan orang tua berdasarkan aspek-aspek perkembangan anak, dari segi psikologi perkembangan anak, (2) mendeskripsikan implikasi masalah anak TK bagi bimbingan dan konseling, dan 3) implikasinya bagi fungsi layanan bimbingan dan konseling di TK. Populasi adalah Guru orang dan orang tua murid TK Nanda Pahandut sebanyak 83 orang tua dan 10 orang guru. Sampel adalah sample total (penelitian populasi). Hal ini sesuai dengan pendapat Arikunto (1992) bahwa apabila jumlah subjek atau populasi kurang dari 100, maka sebaiknya diambil semua. Instrumen penelitian meliputi kuesioner dan pedoman wawancara untuk guru TK. Teknik analisa data menggunakan prosentase (%). Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan 5 (lima) kelompok masalah yang diamalami anak TK “Nanda” Palangka Raya, adalah: (1) masalah sosial, misalnya negativisme, (2) masalah emosional misalnya cemas cemas, (3) masalah moral misalnya merusak mainan teman, (4) masalah perkembangan misalnya lambat mengerti/memahami penjelasan/keterangann dan (5) masalah bahasa misalnya keterlambahan berbicara. Implikasi dalam layanan bimbingan dan konseling, guru TK perlu memberikan layanan bimbingan dan kosenling kepada anak terutama kegiatan layanan preventif dan pengembangan.
This study aims at: (1) Describing the problems experienced by kindergarten teachers and parents on aspects of child development, from psychological view, (2) describing the implications of the kindergarten guidance and counseling issue, and (3) the implications of guidance and counseling services functions in kindergarten. The population is gathered from teachers and parents of Nanda Pahadut kindergarten as much as 83 parents and 10 teachers. The sample used is total samples (population studies). This method refers to Arikunto (1992) proposed that if the amount of subject less than 100, all subjects must be counted. Research instruments included the questionnaire and interview guideline for kindergarten teachers. Data analysis techniques used a percentage (%). The results of the study revealed that there were 5 (five) groups of problems experienced by “Nanda” Palangkaraya kindergarten students, includes (1) social issues, such as negativism, (2) emotional problems, such as anxiety, (3) moral issues such as breaking other kids’ toys, (4) developmental problems like tardiness in understanding explanation and (5) language problems like lack of spoken language. As for the implication, kindergarten teachers should give guidance and counseling services to children especially preventive and developmental services.
