PENGGUNAAN ISTILAH BAHASA ARAB OLEH AKTIVIS ROHIS DI UNIVERSITAS NEGERI SEMARANG (ANALISIS SEMANTIK DAN SOSIOLINGUISTIK)

Aktivis Rohis Universitas Negeri Semarang sering menggunakan istilah bahasa Arab dalam komunikasi. Penggunaan istilah bahasa Arab oleh aktivis Rohis merupakan fakta menarik, karena hal ini menyebabkan makna baru terbentuk, dan penggunaan istilah ini dapat berupa alih kode atau campur kode. Hal ini menarik perhatian peneliti untuk menganalisis istilah bahasa Arab ditinjau dari perspektif semantik dan soiolinguistik. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan desasin etnografi. Data dalam penelitian ini bersumber dari aktivis Rohis Universitas Negeri Semarang dengan sampel aktivis Rohis Fakultas Matematika dan IPA (FMIPA) UNNES. Pengumpulan data ini melalui observasi, wawancara, angket dan dokumentasi. Instrument penelitian meliputi pedoman observasi, pedoman wawancara, lembar angket, serta kartu dan lembar rekapitulasi. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis data penelitian kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Penggunaan istilah bahasa Arab oleh aktivis Rohis terjadi pada berbagai suasana, meliputi resmi ada 18 peristiwa tutur, agak resmi ada 24 peristiwa tutur, santai ada 12 peristiwa tutur dan akrab ada 15 peristiwa tutur. (2) Perubahan makna meliputi perluasan makna ada 8 istilah, penyempitan makna ada 33 istilah, perpindahan makna ada 22 istilah, dan makna tetap ada 38 istilah. (3)  Relasi makna meliputi sinonim ada 79 istilah, antonim ada 1 istilah, polisemi ada 2 istilah,  homonimi ada 18 istilah, dan hiponimi ada 1 istilah. (4) Alih kode dan campur kode ditemukan 8 alih kode berupa 7 alih kode dari bahasa Indonesia ke bahasa Arab dan 1 alih kode dari bahasa Arab ke bahasa Indonesia. Campur kode dari bahasa Indonesia ke bahasa Arab 68 dan 1 campur kode dari bahasa Jawa ke bahasa Arab. (5) Motivasi dalam menggunakan istilah bahasa Arab ini aktivis Rohis lebih menyukai menggunakan bahasa Arab karena bahasa Arab lebih mudah, lebih sederhana, dan sopan digunakan. Selain itu mereka berusaha menambah istilah dan bertanya saat ada istilah yang tidak dimengerti. Adapun istilah bahasa Arab yang sering digunakan adalah adab syuro, afwan, akhi, akhwat, annisa, hijab, hijrah, dan jamaah.

Rohis Activist Semarang State University often uses the Arabic term in communication. The use of the Arabic term by Rohis activists is an interesting fact, as it causes new meanings to be formed, and the use of this term can be either code transfer or code mixing. This draws the attention of researchers to analyze the Arabic term in terms of semantic and soiolinguistic perspectives. This research uses qualitative research type with desasin ethnografi. The data in this research comes from activist Rohis State University of Semarang with sample of Rohis activist Faculty of Mathematics and Science (FMIPA) UNNES. This data collection through observation, interview, questionnaire and documentation. Research instruments include observation guides, interview guides, questionnaires, as well as cards and recapitulation sheets. Data analysis using qualitative research data analysis techniques. The result of the research shows that: (1) The use of Arabic term by Rohis activist occurs in various atmosphere, covering official there are 18 speech events, rather official there are 24 speech events, relax there are 12 speech events and familiar there are 15 events said. (2) Changes in meaning include the extension of the meaning there are 8 terms, narrowing the meaning there are 33 terms, displacement meaning there are 22 terms, and the meaning remains there are 38 terms. (3) The relation of meaning includes synonyms there are 79 terms, antonyms have 1 term, polysemy there are 2 terms, homony there are 18 terms, and hyponimi there is 1 term. (4) The code and code interfaces are found to be 8 codes in the form of 7 transfers from Indonesian to Arabic and 1 from Arabic to Indonesian. Mix code from Indonesian to Arabic 68 and 1 mix code from Java language to Arabic. (5) The motivation in using this Arabic term Rohis activists prefer to use Arabic because Arabic is easier, simpler, and decently used. In addition they try to add terms and ask when there are terms that are not understood. The Arabic term that is often used is adab syuro, afwan, akhi, akhwat, annisa, hijab, hijrah, and totally changed. From those data, we found 24 words which use essence words and 47 for figurative words.
