Abstract

Academic resilience is the ability of individuals to adapt to various academic situations positively and productively so that they are able to develop themselves and overcome academic demands effectively. The research aims to determine the influence of self-esteem, religiosity, optimism, emotion regulation, and social support for the academic resilience of Universitas Negeri Semarang Accounting Education students, class of 2022. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method of 120 students selected through simple random sampling. The data in this study was analyzed using descriptive statistics and Structural Equation Modeling based Partial Smallest Square (SEM – PLS). The results of this study show that self-esteem, religiosity, optimism, and social support had a significant positive effect on academic resilience, while emotion regulation had no significant effect.
