The use of synthetic-based singwit cosmetics in Wayang Orang performances is prone to triggering skin health issues such as irritation and acne due to exposure to harsh chemicals and intense stage lighting heat. This study aims to develop a powder-based singwit cosmetic formulation using natural materials, specifically acacia wood charcoal as a black pigment and coconut starch extract as a white pigment, and to analyze the physicochemical properties and product acceptability level among artists. The method employed experimental research conducted at the Chemistry Laboratory of AKS Ibu Kartini Semarang and field testing with the Ngesti Pandowo Wayang Orang art group. Data collection instruments included physicochemical testing (pH and homogeneity) and an observation questionnaire validated and evaluated by 10 artists as observers. Acceptability data were analyzed quantitatively using percentage score calculations. The findings showed that the formulations had a pH value ranging from 5 to 6, which aligns with the physiological pH of the skin, along with good homogeneity. The acceptability test yielded an average percentage score of 96,36%, categorized as Very Good / Highly Suitable. The product demonstrated intense and sharp pigmentation, sweat resistance during 2–3 hours of performance, clear visibility under stage lighting, and no skin irritation. Thus, this natural material-based singwit innovation is suitable as an eco-friendly green cosmetic alternative that protects the skin health of Wayang Orang artists
