Abstract

The UNNES GIAT 16 program in Boja Village, Kendal Regency, was implemented as a community service utilizing a participatory-based empowerment approach. This article aims to comprehensively describe the implementation and results of three main programs developed based on local potential and community needs: livestock feed innovation, MSME digitalization, and children's education. The method utilized a descriptive-participatory approach carried out through five systematic stages: education, practice, participation, mentoring, and evaluation. Data were collected through direct observation and documentation during the activities, then analyzed using a qualitative descriptive method. The results indicate tangible success in all three target sectors. First, in the livestock sector, farming groups collaboratively practiced making silage from corn leaves and forage to improve independent feed preservation skills. Second, in the economic sector, seven MSME actors received intensive mentoring through the UMKM GO Marketplace program, covering catalog creation, product photography, and digital store management to expand their market reach. Third, in the education sector, the Posko Sinau program facilitated 16 children through learning assistance innovatively integrated with traditional games (engklek, jump rope, and ABC Lima Dasar) to stimulate physical activity and social interaction. In conclusion, the integration of these three programs proves that well-targeted and participatory community empowerment provides concrete skill improvements for local residents while offering highly meaningful direct learning experiences for university students.
