Peningkatan Pemahaman tentang Pupuk Organik Cair (POC) Guna Pemanfaatan Sampah Organik di Desa Wunut

Abstract

Waste is an urgent environmental problem in villages that do not have an adequate management system and 
lack of knowledge related to waste sorting. Based on the National Waste Management Information System (SIPSN) 
states that in 1 day Klaten Regency produces 649.45 tons of waste volume originating from domestic waste, where this 
domestic waste generally produces more organic waste which can pollute the environment due to the stench of organic 
waste. So that there is an alternative to managing and utilizing organic waste, namely making Liquid Organic Fertilizer 
(POC). The method of implementing training in making Liquid Organic Fertilizer (POC) has 4 stages, first coordination, 
second counseling material about POC, third training in making POC, and fourth evaluation of the training activities. 
The results of the training found that participants understood and were able to make their own POC from organic waste 
and understood how to apply it to plants.
