Edukasi Perilaku Hidup Bersih dan Sehat melalui Program Kantong Belanja Ramah Lingkungan

Abstract

 

The Community Service Program (KKN) is a form of community service through education about reducing plastic waste by using environmentally friendly shopping bags. The goal was to unite the arisan women from Dukuh Mondolangu, Kemiri Village, Tulung District, Klaten Regency to create a clean environment through the use of plastic bags. Plastic shopping bags are a daily consumption used by households in various activities. This problem needs to be taken more seriously because the daily use of plastic shopping bags can cause an accumulation of waste that is difficult to decompose by nature. The implementation method used was to hold a socialization aimed at inviting the women of Kemiri Village arisan to reduce waste, especially in the use of plastic grocery bags. This socialization was held on December 29, 2024 at the Semarang State University KKN Post GIAT 10 Dukuh Mondolangu, Kemiri Village, Tulung District, Klaten Regency. The implementation of this education program aims to increase public awareness about reducing plastic waste through the use of reusable and environmentally friendly shopping bags, we can increase the potential of the Kemiri Village community to take sustainable action by reducing plastic waste, but also to improve the quality of clean and healthy life in the Kemiri Village environment. With the education and involvement of arisan mothers in Kemiri Village, it can build a cleaner group and care for the environment, because this program really needs the participation and support of the local community.
