Literacy is a fundamental skill that is crucial for community life, especially in today's information and technology era. However, in various regions, particularly at the village level, access to reading facilities and a culture of literacy remains low. This study aims to identify the effectiveness of the literacy movement and the reading corner initiation program as an effort to build community literacy interest in Pabuaran Village, Pabuaran District, Serang Regency. The primary method used in this community service is qualitative with a case study approach, where program implementation is carried out in stages and evaluated based on community response and participation. The series of activities includes planning, implementation, and evaluation. In addition, observation, interviews, and collaboration methods with relevant parties such as the village government and schools are also used. The results of the study indicate that the presence of the literacy movement and reading corner is followed by an increase in the number of community visits, especially children and adolescents, as well as increased participation in literacy activities. With this program, it is hoped that it can be an effective strategy to increase community literacy interest and build a positive reading culture in Pabuaran Village.
