HUBUNGANÂ ANTARAÂ PEMANFAATANÂ PERPUSTAKAANÂ SEKOLAHÂ DENGANÂ PRESTASIÂ BELAJARÂ SISWAÂ DALAMÂ KOMPETENSIÂ PEMERIKSAANÂ SISTEMÂ KEMUDIÂ

Abstract

Penelitian  ini  bertujuan  untuk  mengetahui  ada  tidaknya  hubungan  pemanfaatan  perpustakaan  sekolah dengan prestasi belajar siswa dalam Standar Kompetensi Pemeriksaan Sistem kemudi Kelas II Jurusan Otomotif di SMK  Muhammadiyah  1  Sukoharjo.  Penelitian  ini  adalah  penelitian  korelasi,  untuk  mengetahui  ada  tidaknya hubungan intensitas pemanfaatan perpustakaan sekolah dengan prestasi belajar siswa dalam Standar Kompetensi Pemeriksaan Sistem Kemudi. Populasi dalam penelitian  ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas II SMK  Muhammadiyah 1 Sukoharjo tahun pelajaran 2009/2010 yang berjumlah 192 siswa. Pada penelitian ini, penulis memilih secara acak tiga kelas sebagai kelas eksperimen. Data penelitian diperoleh dengan instrumen berupa angket untuk mengetahui pendapat  siswa  tentang  hubungan  pemanfaatan  perpustakaan  sekolah  dengan  prestasi  belajar  siswa  dalam Kompetensi  Pemeriksaan  Sistem  Kemudi.  Analisis  data  menggunakan  teknik  analisis  korelasi  product  moment,  dan pengambilan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik random sampling. Hasil peneltian menunjukkan ada hubungan positif anâ€tara pemanfaatan perpustakaan sekolah dengan prestasi belajar siswa dalam standar kompetensi pemeriksaan sisâ€tem kemudi kelas II Jurusan otomotif di SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sukoharjo.

This research is aimed to identify whether or not there is relation between school library utilization and students’study  achievements  in  Steering  Inspection  Competence  Standard  in  the  second  grade  of  Automotive Program at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sukoharjo. The research type is the correlation one to identify whether or not the relation  between  the  intensity  of  school  library  utilization  and  students’  study  achievements  in  Steering  System Inspection Competence Standard. The population of the research was all second graders at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sukoharjo year 2009/2010 consisting of 192 students. In this research, the writer chose three classes  randomly as experiment classes. The data of research was gained using questionnaire  to  find out  students’ opinions about  the relation  between  school  library  utilization  and  students’  study  achievements  in  Steering  System  Inspection Competence. Data was analyzed using random sampling technique. The result of this research indicates that there is positive relation between school library utilization and students’ study achievements in Steering System Inspection Competence Standard in second grade of Automotive Program at SMK Muhammadiyah 1 Sukoharjo.
