PENERAPAN PANEL PERAGA SISTEM PENGAPIAN DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MODEL COOPERA TIF LEARNING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN PRESTASI BELAJAR KELISTRIKAN OTOMOTIF

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan prestasi belajar materi sistem kelistrikan otomotif melalui pemanfaatan alat peraga sistem pengapian konvensional menggunakan model pembelajaran Cooperatif Learning. Metode penelitian menggunakan eksperimen semu. Populasi penelitian adalah mahasiswa D3 Teknik Mesin Universitas Negeri Semarang semester VI yang berjumlah 36 mahasiswa. Pengambilan sampel meng­gunakan teknik total sampling dan terbagi menjadi dua kelompok sampel, yaitu mahasiswa kelompok 1 menjadi kelas kontrol, sedangkan mahasiswa kelompok 2 menjadi kelas eksperimen. Pengumpulan data menggunakan tes dan analisis data dengan teknik statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar dibuktikan dengan t test dua pihak menghasilkan t hitung i t tabel yaitu 2,71. Peningkatan pemahaman sebesar 27,33 (57,33%). Hasil analisis data penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ada peningkatan antara hasil belajar tentang sistem pengapian konvensional sebelum dan setelah menggunakan media pembelajaran pada mata kuliah Kelistrikan Otomotif.

The purpose of the research was to increase the learning achievement ability of automotive electrical subject through the use of visual aid about conventional ignition system, using Cooperative Learning model. The method of the research was Quasi Experiment The population of it was the students of D3 Program from MechanicalEngineering Department, Semarang State University in the sixth semester consisting of 36 students. The sample was taken using total sampling and it was divided into two sample groups, they were group 1 as the control class, while group 2 as the experiment class. The result of the research showed that there was increase of learning result proven with T-test toward two sides resulting t count 2 t table which was 2,71. The increase of understanding was about 27,33 (57,33%). The result of research data showed that there was Increase between the learning result about conventional ignition system before and after using learning media in Automotive Electrical subject
