Flipped-Learning: a Model in Improving Reading Comprehension

Abstract

Membaca (reading) adalah keterampilan memahami bahasa tulisan yang bersifat reseptif. Dengan demikian reseptif bukan sekedar membaca bahasa tulisan melainkan sekaligus memahaminya. Penelitian ini bertujian untuk mengetahui peningkatan pemahaman membaca melalui model flipped classroom. Metode yang akan digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre ekperimen yang akan menganalisa peningkatan keterampilan membaca bahasa Inggris melalui pembelajaran Model Flipped Classroom. (2) desain perencanaan pembelajaran keterampilan membaca bahasa Inggris melalui pembelajaran Model Flipped Classroom. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pre test, treatment, dan post test. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Adapun hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa adanya peningkatan hasil akhir post-test dibandingkan hasil pre-test.
