Determinan Indeks Kualitas Lingkungan Hidup dengan Pengujian Environmental Kuznet Curve

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis dan mendeskripsikan hubungan antara produk domestik bruto, kepadatan penduduk, energi dan penanaman modal asing serta pembuktian hipotesis environment kuznet curve terhadap indeks kualitas lingkungan hidup. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pengujian environment kuznet curve. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis data panel menggunakan e-views. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variable PDRB tidak memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan dan hipotesis environment kuznet curve tidak terbukti dikarenakan hasil pengujian PDRB tidak signifikan meskipun menunjukkan beta >1. Hasil variable kepadatan penduduk berpengaruh signifikan terhadap indeks kualitas lingkungan hidup, energi tidak berpengaruh signifikan dan penanaman modal asing berpengaruh signifikan terhadap indeks kualitas lingkungan hidup.
