HUBUNGAN OPTIMISME DENGAN SUBJECTIVE WELL-BEING PADA KARYAWAN OUTSOURCING PT BANK RAKYAT INDONESIA CABANG CILACAP

Abstract

Abstrak. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi dari fenomena bahwa kondisi lingkungan yang semakin sulit, maka karyawan outsourcing perlu merasa optimis untuk meraih masa depan yang diinginkan. Penelitian ini bertujuan utnuk mengetahui gambaran optimisme pada karyawan outsourcing PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Cabang Cilacap, mengetahui gambaran subjective well-being karyawan outsourcing PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Cabang Cilacap, dan mengetahui ada tidaknya hubungan antara optimisme dengan subjective well-being karyawan outsourcing PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Cabang Cilacap.

            Berdasarkan latar belakang tersebut maka hipotesis yang diajukan adalah terdapat hubungan positif antara optimisme dengan subjective well-being karyawan outsourcing PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Cabang Cilacap. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Cabang Cilacap. Penelitian ini menggunakan studi populasi dikarenakan jumlah karyawan outsourcing di PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Cabang Cilacap adalah 62 orang. Optimisme diukur dengan menggunakan skala optimisme yang memiliki nilai reliabilitas sebesar 0,839. Subjective Well-Being diukur dengan menggunakan skala Subjective Well-Being. Yang mempunyai nilai reliabilitas sebesar 0,849. Peneliti menggunakan kolerasi Product Moment Pearson yang dibantu dengan program SPSS 17.0 for windows.

            Hasil penelitian menunjukkan variabel optimisme pada subjek penelitian berada pada kategori tinggi yang berarti bahwa optimisme yang dimiliki karyawan outsourcing tinggi. Variabel subjective well-being pada subjek penelitian berasa pada kriteria tinggi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang positif antara optimisme sengan subjective well-being  dengan nilai r = 0,516 dengan nilai signifikansi atau p = 0,000. Hal ini mengidikasikan bahwa ada hubungan positif yang signifikan antara optimisme dengan subjective well-being pada karyawan outsoucing PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Cabang Cilacap. Sehingga semakin tinggi optimisme yang dimiliki karyawan, maka semakin tinggi kebahagiaan dan kepuasan hidupnya. Hal ini dikarenakan optimisme akan membawa bagaimana individu belajar lebih realistis menghadapi kondisi sulit dalam kehidupan serta mampu mengerjakan sesuatu menjadi lebih baik seperti dalam pekerjaan, pendidikan, dan hubungan sosial.

Abstract. This research is based of the phenomenon that is increasingly difficult environmental conditions, then the outsourcing employees need to feel optimistic for the future reach. This study is aim to know the description of the employee outsourcing optimism PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Branch Cilacap, know the description of Subjective well-being of employees outsourcing PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Branch Cilacap, and knowing the relationship between optimism with subjective well-being of PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Branch Cilacap.

            Based on this background the proposed hypothesis is that there is a positive relationship between optimism with subjective well-being on employee outsourcing PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Branch Cilacap. The research was conducted at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Branch Cilacap. This study uses population studies because the number of outsourced employees at PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Branch Cilacap is 62 people. Optimism was measured using a scale of optimism that has a reliability value of 0.839. subjective well-being measured using the Subjective Well-Being scale. Which has value of 0.849 reliability. Researchers using the Pearson Product Moment correlation which is assisted by the program SPSS 17.0 for windows.

            The results showed optimism on the subject of study variables are in high category, which means that the optimism that employees have high outsourcing. Variables on subjective well-being of research are at high criteria. The result showed that there is positive relationship between optimism with subjective well-being with a value of r = 0.516 with a significance vale or p = 0.000. This indicates that there is a significant positive relationship between optimism with subjective well-being on employee outsourcing PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia Branch Cilacap. So the higher optimism that employees have, the higher happiness and life satisfaction. This is because the optimism will carry how individuals learn to be more realistic to see an event and the future, can help in dealing with difficult circumstances in life and are able to do something for the better as in employment, education, and social relationships.
