Abstract

Meningkatnya angka pengangguran dari tahun ke tahun selain karena terbatasnya jumlah lowongan kerja, juga karena tidak atau belum siapnya individu memasuki dunia kerja. Gambaran kesiapan individu untuk mencari kerja dikenal dengan istilah teknisdalam frase “job search readiness†(kesiapan mencari kerja). Salah satu faktor yangmempengaruhi kesiapan dalam mencari kerja adalah perencanaan karir, dimana didalamnya terdapat self-efficacy. Sudut pandang psikologis meninjau bahwaketidakyakinan para mahasiswa tingkat akhir akan “bekal†yang telah dimiliki untukmemasuki dunia kerja ini dalam bahasan self efficacy, yang dipahami sebagai keyakinan akan kemampuan diri untuk mengatur dan melaksanakan tindakan yang diperlukan untuk menyelesaikan tugas tertentu (Bandura, 2007). Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif korelasional. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 165 mahasiswa tingkat akhir. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah skalaJob serach readiness (α=0.901) dan skala self-efficacy (α=0.898). Analisis hipotesisdalam penelitian ini menggunakan korelasi Product moment. Data penelitian diolah dengan soft ware pengolah data statistik. Hasil uji hipotesis menunjukkan bahwa terdapat hubungan posistif antara self-efficacy dan job search readiness(r=0.683;p<0.05).


The increase in unemployment from year to year other than because of the limited number of job vacancies, also because not or not ready for individuals to enter the workforce. The description of an individual's readiness to find work is known by the technical term in the phrase "job search readiness" (readiness to find work). One factor that influences readiness to look for work is career planning, in which there is self- efficacy. Psychological point of view reviewing that the final level of student's lack of confidence in the "stock" that has been owned to enter the world of work in the discussion of self efficacy, which is understood as confidence in the ability of self to organize and carry out the actions needed to complete certain tasks (Bandura, 2007) . This research is a quantitative correlational study. The research sample was 165 final year students. The instruments used in this research are the Job Search Readiness scale(α = 0.901) and the self-efficacy scale (α = 0.898). Hypothesis analysis in this studyuses the Product moment correlation. The research data is processed with statistical data processing software. Hypothesis test results indicate that there is a positive relationship between self-efficacy and job search readiness (r = 0.683; p <0.05).
