You've done it all before - made a New Year's LumaSlim Review resolution in past years to lose some weight to start the New Year right. But if you're like 50% of the population, you still have weight problems. What you need is a new plan that looks at all the different aspects of weight loss: weight goals, nutrition, amount of food (and do you really need to deprive yourself), our obsession with junk food, and how to create a diet plan for your lifestyle. How about me? Well, 7 years ago, I was overweight. Then, I had a heart bypass operation and I went from 201 pounds to 176 pounds in 2 weeks. I don't recommend that as a way to lose weight! The problem was after I recovered, I started gaining a lot of weight again. So I was where you are right now and here is the plan I found: Set Realistic goals - you've seen the ads...all promising a short cut so you can lose weight instantly. Many times you will lose weight instantly, BUT that may be only water weight and it can return! Start with a goal to lose 1 pound. When that is successful, start setting a little bit longer-term goal. If you set a goal of 5 pounds each month, that's a total of 60 pounds in a year. Amount of food and Nutrition - if you deprive your body of food, your body will react by going into survival mode, your metabolism will slow down to cope with the change, you'll get very hungry, and that's the end of your diet. Instead simply cut down on what you eat. Have spaghetti but try a smaller portion and add a small salad. Add fruits and vegetables to your diet. Change to complex carbohydrates like wheat bread instead of simple carbohydrates like white bread. You'll feel fuller longer. You have to reduce food amounts gradually and trick your body so it doesn't think it's going into starvation mode.
