PENGEMBANGAN MATERI AJAR PUISI DI SD

Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan materi ajar puisi yang sesuai dengantuntutan pembelajaran, baik tuntutan kurikulum, karakteristik siswa, maupunmasyarakat pada umumnya. Untuk menghasilkan produk yang berupa kriteria puisianak-anak sebagai materi ajar di SD dalam penelitian ini digunakan metode Research andDevelopment yang disederhanakan sehingga hanya meliputi tiga tahap utama, yaitu (1)studi pendahuluan, (2) perumusan dan pengembangan produk, dan (3) validasi dandiseminasi produk. Hasil penelitian ini ada dua macam, yaitu kriteria puisi anak-anak danmodel pengembangan materi ajar puisi di SD. Kriteria puisi anak-anak yang diharapkanoleh para guru bisa dilihat dari tiga aspek, yakni tipografi, bahasa, dan isi. Tipografimenyangkut penulisan judul, penulisan nama, penulisan baris, penulisan bait,penggunaan huruf, panjang puisi, dan model penulisan puisi. Bahasa yang digunakanharus indah dan komunikatif. Isi puisi anak-anak harus bermanfaat dan bisa dipahamioleh anak-anak. Pengembangan materi ajar puisi di SD bisa dilakukan dengan dua cara,yaitu melalui penciptaan dan pengalihwahanaan. Penciptaan berarti menciptakan puisiyang sebelumnya tidak ada, sedangkan pengalihwahanaan berarti menciptakan puisi darisesuatu yang sebelumnya telah ada. This research aimed to develop poetry learning materials which were appropriate withteaching demand such as curriculum demand, student's characteristic, and society incommon. To achieve product as criteria of children poetry as learning materials forElementary School students, this research applied simplified Research and Developmentmethod having three major phases, they are (1) introductory study, (2) productformulation and development, and (3) product validation and dissemination. Results ofthis research were two things, namely children poetry criteria and model of developinglearning materials for Elementary School students. The children poetry criteria expectedby teachers could be seen from three aspects, they are typography, language, and contentaspects. Typography aspect was about writing title, name, line, stanza, letters use, poem'slength, and model of writing poem. The language used should be attractive andcommunicative. The content of children poem should be useful and understood bychildren. The development of poetry learning materials for Elementary School studentscould be done in two ways, namely through creating and transforming. Creating meant tocreate a poem which was never produced before, and transforming meant to create apoem from the existing previous poems. Transforming could be done through translationand adaptation.
