Abstract
This study aimed to develop learning tools of digital technique mobile learning for Electrical Engineering Education students, to test the effectiveness and practicality. The study used Research and Development method. The steps in conducting this research include: (1) preliminary, by doing literature study, preliminary research on smartphone usage, analyzing syllabus, determining material substance and learning objects; (2) development, by making a map of learning program which was integrated into digital technique mobile learning; (3) validation by media and material experts. After validated, the media could be tested. The test was done at Electrical Engineering Department of Semarang State University involving 10 students of small group test and 31 students of field test. The methods of data collection were tests and questionnaires. The result of material validation was 95.5% (very feasible). The result of small group test obtained pre-test average score of 70.0 and post-test average of 89.0 with gain 0,63 (medium). Field test results obtained pre-test average score of 67.9 and post-test average score of 85.2 with gain 0,54 (medium). Practical test results obtained 82.8% which meant very practical. Thus, it could be concluded that the development of digital technique mobile learning was feasible to be used as learning media.
