Abstract

Abstrak. 

Kesenjangan antara potensi motif batik anak-anak dengan segmentasi pemasaran pakaian anak menjadi kelemahan utama yang dihadapi oleh mitra batik Figa Semarang. Kondisi ini perlu dipecahkan dengan cara membuka segmentasi baru yaitu segmen motif batik dengan gaya anak-anak, tidak bergantung pada motif batik dewasa. Penerapan ini bertujuan untuk memberikan rekomendasi motif anak-anak bagi perajin batik Figa Semarang. Metode yang digunakan meliputi identifikasi, analisis, perancangan, penerapan dan evaluasi. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa eksplorasi motif anak-anak dengan teknik distorsi visual flora-fauna dapat menjadi alternatif sebagai suatu strategi perluasan sekaligus membuka segmen baru pemasaran batik.

Abstract. 

The gap between the potential of children's batik motifs and the segmentation of the children's clothing market represents a primary weakness faced by Figa Semarang's batik partners. This situation necessitates resolution through the establishment of a new segmentation strategy, specifically focusing on children's batik motifs, independent of adult batik motifs. The objective of this implementation is to provide recommendations for children's batik motifs to the batik artisans associated with Figa Semarang. The methodology employed encompasses various stages, including identification, analysis, design, implementation, and evaluation. The results indicate that the exploration of children's motifs using visual distortion techniques inspired by flora and fauna holds promise as an alternative strategy for market expansion and the creation of a new segment in the batik marketing landscape.
