KELAYAKAN EYEBROW SOAP BERBASIS AMPAS BIJI KEMIRI DAN ARANG

Abstract

Abstrak. Pemanfaatan ampas biji kemiri dan arang sebagai sumber pewarna alami pembuatan kosmetik eyebrow soap. Tujuan penelitian : untuk mengetahui kelayakan kosmetik eyebrow soap dengan berbahan dasar ampas biji kemiri dan arang sebagai pewarna alami. Produk yang dihasilkan dalam penelitian ini yaitu warna cokelat dan cokelat keabuan. Metode dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah metode observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis deskriptif persentase. Skor rata-rata hasil penilaian uji inderawi dilihat dari segi aspek kegunaan sebagai kosmetik untuk produk warna cokelat sebesar 91,1% dan produk warna cokelat keabuan sebesar 92,2% dengan kategori sangat baik, dari segi aspek kegunaan sebagai sabun untuk produk warna cokelat sebesar 93,3% dan produk warna cokelat keabuan sebesar 94,4% dengan kategori sangat baik. Skor rata-rata hasil penilaian uji kesukaan dilihat dari segi aspek kegunaan sebagai kosmetik untuk produk warna cokelat sebesar 89,96% dan produk warna cokelat keabuan sebesar 92,2% dengan kategori sangat suka, dari segi aspek kegunaan sabun untuk produk warna cokelat sebesar 93,31% dan produk warna cokelat keabuan sebesar 94,43% dengan kategori sangat suka. Untuk segi aspek bentuk Kosmetik eyebrow soap memiliki bentuk yang padat, warna cokelat dan cokelat keabuan, kesan pemakaian yang didapat yaitu menempel ketika diaplikasikan, tingkat kemudahan dalam pengaplikasian mudah, ketahanan kosmetik tahan 8 jam tidak luntur walau dalam keadaan cuaca panas tanpa terkena air, sensitivitas pada kulit aman tidak menimbulkan rasa gatal, perih, dan kemerahan pada kulit.

Abstract. Utilization of the dregs of pecan seeds and charcoal as a source of natural dyes for making eyebrow soap cosmetics. The research objective: to determine the cosmetic feasibility of eyebrow soap based on the dregs of hazelnut seeds and charcoal as natural dyes. The products produced in this study are brown and grayish brown. The method in this research is using the experimental method. The data collection method used is the method of observation and documentation. The data analysis technique used percentage descriptive analysis. The average score of the sensory test results from the aspect of use as a cosmetic for chocolate color products is 91.1% and the gray brown product is 92.2% with a very good category, in terms of the usefulness aspect as a soap for brown products of 93.3% and a 94.4% gray-brown product with a very good category. The average score of the results of the assessment of the preference test seen from the aspect of use as cosmetics for brown products is 89.96% and the gray-brown product is 92.2% with the very like category, in terms of the use aspect of soap for brown products of 93 , 31% and the product of the grayish brown color was 94.43% with the very like category. In terms of cosmetic shape aspects, eyebrow soap has a solid shape, brown and grayish brown, the impression of use that is obtained is that it sticks when applied, the level of ease of application is easy, 8 hours of lasting cosmetic resistance does not fade even in hot weather conditions without exposure to water, sensitivity on the skin it is safe not to cause itching, burning, and redness of the skin.
