Efektifitas Penggunaan Musik Perkusi terhadap Tindakan Emosional dalam Mengekspresikan Emosi pada Anak Autisme Disertai Epilepsi
Abstract
Autism child with epilepsy have difficult to express emotion and verbal communication. It make impairment in social and interaction to the others. Percussion instrument is a tool that can be used by teacher to modify the child’s action to express her emotion. The aims of this study is to know the effect of percussion instrument usage on emotional action of expression emotion in child with autism-epilepsy. We used single case experimental design method with 2 phase (A-B) on reversal design. We recorded frequency of the action in the period to collect the data. Data analyzed with visual analysis to differentiate conditions on graphic display by within-condition analysis and between-condition analysis. The result showed, percussion instrument usage had effectiveness to increase emotional expression of child with epilepsy, especially on emotional action.
