PENGARUH KONDISI SOSIAL EKONOMI KELUARGA TERHADAP TINGKAT PARTISIPASI ANAK PADA JENJANG PENDIDIKAN TINGGI

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Untuk mengetahui kondisi sosial ekonomi keluarga di Kelurahan Patemon Kecamatan Gunungpati Kota Semarang, (2) Untuk mengetahui partisipasi anak pada pendidikan tinggi di Kelurahan Patemon Kecamatan Gunungpati Kota Semarang, (3) Untuk mengetahui pengaruh kondisi sosial ekonomi keluarga terhadap partisipasi anak pada jenjang pendidikan tinggi di Kelurahan Patemon Kecamatan Gunungpati Kota Semarang. Penentuan sampel dengan menggunakan teknik Proporsional sampling. Sampel penelitian ini yaitu orang tua yang mempunyai anak tamatan SMA atau usia Perguruan Tinggi. Metode pengumpulan data dengan metode observasi, wawancara, dan angket. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif persentase, uji normalitas,uji t, dan uji F. Hasil penelitian yaitu: (1) Hasil persentase kondisi sosial ekonomi orang tua menunjukkan nilai rata-rata (mean) adalah 76,58% sehingga dapat diketahui bahwa kondisi sosial ekonomi orang tua termasuk dalam kategori “sedang”. (2) Hasil persentase tingkat partisipasi anak pada jenjang pendidikan tinggi menunjukkan nilai rata-rata (mean) adalah 40,80% sehingga dapat diketahui bahwa tingkat partisipasi termasuk dalam kategori “rendah”. (3) Hasil regresi linear menunjukkan bahwa pengaruh kondisi sosial ekonomi keluarga terhadap partisipasi anak pada jenjang pendidikan tinggi di Kelurahan Patemon Kecamatan Gunungpati Kota Semarang yaitu sebesar 0,197, sehingga di katakan ”rendah”. Dapat di simpulkan bahwa kondisi sosial ekonomi keluarga berpengaruh rendah terhadap tingkat partisipasi anak pada jenjang pendidikan tinggi di Kelurahan Patemon Kecamatan Gunungpati Kota Semarang.

Sampling using proportional sampling technique. The research sample is that parents who have children graduate high school or university age. Methods of data collection methods of observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The data analysis technique used is descriptive percentages, normality test, t, and F test The results of the study are: (1) The percentage of socio-economic conditions of parents shows the average value (mean) is 76.58%, so it can be seen that the socio-economic conditions of the parents are included in the category of ”moderate”. (2) The percentage rate of participation in higher education shows the average (mean) was 40.80%, so it can be seen that the level of participation is included in the category of ”low”.
It can be concluded that the socio-economic conditions of low family influence on the level of participation in higher education in Sub Patemon Gunungpati District of Semarang.
