FAKTOR-FAKTOR YANG MEMPENGARUHI KETIDAKTUNTASAN NILAI MATA PELAJARAN GEOGRAFI MATERI POKOK DASAR-DASAR ILMU GEOGRAFI

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui faktor-faktor yang mempengaruhi ketidaktuntasan nilai mata pelajaran geografi materi pokok dasar-dasar ilmu geografi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dokumentasi, angket, dan interview. Analisis data menggunakan deskriptif persentase. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa 53% siswa memiliki minat yang rendah dan 4% siswa memiliki minat sangat rendah terhadap pelajaran geografi dan 36 % siswa memiliki perhatian rendah bahkan 22% siswa memiliki perhatian yang sangat rendah terhadap pelajaran geografi. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa fakor yang mempengaruhi ketidaktuntasan mata pelajaran geografi materi pokok dasar-dasar ilmu geografi adalah faktor minat dan perhatian siswa terhadap mata pelajaran geografi.
The goal of this research is to find out the factors of low achievement in geography from the material of “dasar-dasar ilmu geografi”. The subject of the research is the tenth grade students. In collecting the data, this study used the approaches of documentating, questionaries, and interview sessions. Descriptive precentages were being used to analyze the data. The result of the analysis shows that 53% of the students are having low interest and the 4% of the students are having very low interest in geography. While 36% of the students rae having low attention and the 22% of the students are having even lower attention in geography. From the above result, it came to a conclusion that the factors of low achievement in geography by the material of “dasar-dasar ilmu geografi”, is the factor of student’s interest and student’s attention toward geography itself.
