KETEPATAN PEMILIHAN DAN PENGGUNAAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN GEOGRAFI SMA NEGERI DI KABUPATEN JEPARA

Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui ketersediaan media pembelajaran geografi dan tingkat ketepatan pemilihan serta penggunaan media pembelajaran geografi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru geografi SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Jepara, teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi dan angket dengan metode analisis deskripsi persentase. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketersediaan media pembelajaran geografi tergolong lengkap, namun dari segi jumlah belum memenuhi kebutuhan sedangkan tingkat ketepatan pemilihan dan penggunaan media pembelajaran 50% guru sudah tepat dalam memilih media pembelajaran geografi dan sudah menerapkan teknik penggunaan media yang benar. Kesimpulannya 4 dari 10 SMA Negeri di Kabupaten Jepara sudah tepat dalam memilih dan menerapkan teknik penggunaan media yang benar.
The aims of this study were to know the availability of the teaching media of the geography subject and the appropriateness of the teaching media’s selection, and also the use of the media itself. The population of this study was the geographic’s teachers in the state owned senior high school of Jepara regency. The data was collected by using observation, interview, documentation, and questionnaires. Then, the data was analyzed by using the descriptive procentage method. The result of the study showed that the availability of the teaching media was complete enough. However, the number of the teaching media itself have not required the
needs of the teaching. The appropriateness’ level of selection and using the teaching media was 50% of the teachers have selected and used the appropriate media. The conclusion of this study was 50% of the teachers in state owned senior high school of Jepara regency have selected and applied the appropriate media in teaching geography’s subject.
