PENGARUH PENDAPATAN ORANG TUA, LINGKUNGAN SOSIAL DAN INFORMASI PERGURUAN TINGGI TERHADAP MINAT MELANJUTKAN PENDIDIKAN KE PERGURUAN TINGGI PADA SISWA KELAS XI IPS MADRASAH ALIYAH NU 01 LIMPUNG KABUPATEN BATANG.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah ada pengaruh secara simultan maupun parsial antara pendapatan orang tua, lingkungan sosial dan informasi perguruan tinggi terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas XI IPS Madrasah Aliyah NU 01 Limpung sejumlah 51 siswa. Variabel dependen dalam penelitian ini adalah minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi (Y), sedangkan variabel independennya meliputi pendapatan orang tua (X₁), lingkungan sosial (X₂), dan informasi perguruan tinggi (X₃). Metode pengumpulan data dengan angket atau kuesioner. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif presentase, analisis uji asumsi klasik, analisis regresi linier berganda, dan uji hipotesis dengan bantuan program SPSS 21. Hasil uji hipotesis diperoleh bahwa ada pengaruh pendapatan orang tua, lingkungan sosial, dan informasi perguruan tinggi secara simultan terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi sebesar 82,1%. Secara parsial pengaruh pendapatan orang tua pada minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi  sebesar 30.5%, lingkungan sosial  sebesar 8.8% dan informasi perguruan tinggi sebesar 71,1%. Simpulan dari penelitian ini bahwa ada pengaruh pendapatan orang tua, lingkungan sosial dan informasi perguruan tinggi terhadap minat melanjutkan pendidikan ke perguruan tinggi baik secara simultan maupun parsial.

The research aims to find out whether there is simultaneous or partial influence between parents’ income, social environment, and information of colleges toward interest in continuing study to college on grade XI students of Social Science in Madrasah Aliyah NU 01 Limpung. Population of the research was the entire grade XI students of Social Science in Madrasah Aliyah NU 01 Limpung consisted of 51 students. Dependent variable in this research was member Interest in Continuing Education to College(Y), whereas independent variables included influence of parents’ income (X₁), social environment (X₂), and information of colleges (X₃). Collecting data method used inquiry or questionnaire. Analysis data used percentage of descriptive analysis, classical assumption analysis test, multiple linear regression analysis, and hypothesis test with the assistance of SPSS program. The result of hypothesis test shows that there was an influence of parents’ income, social environment, and information of colleges simultaneously toward interest in continuing education to college 82.10%. The partial influence of parents’ income toward continuing education to college was 30,5%, social environment was 8,8%, and informations of colleges was 71,1%. Based on the results it can be concluded that parents’ income, social environment, and information of colleges influenced the continuing education to college simultaneously and partially.
