PENINGKATAN AKTIVITAS DAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA PADA MATA DIKLAT MENGAPLIKASIKAN KETRAMPILAN DASAR KOMUNIKASI MELALUI METODE PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE GROUP INVESTIGATION (GI) KELAS XI AP SMK TEUKU UMAR SEMARANG

Abstract
Kendala dalam proses Pembelajaran di SMK Teuku Umar Semarang adalah kurang adanya keterlibatan siswa secara aktif dalam pembelajaran. Dari hasil Observasi awal pada pembelajaran mata diklat mengaplikasikan ketrampilan dasar komunikasi di SMK Teuku Umar kelas XI AP-1, diperoleh data bahwa kriteria ketuntasan minimal masih sebanyak 40% siswa yang tuntas. Hal tersebut perlu adanya pengembangan variasi metode mengajar dalam perbaikan proses pembelajaran, salah satu alternatifnya dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran Group Investigation. Kegiatan setiap siklus dalam penelitian meliputi kegiatan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Hasil penelitian siklus I dan II terlihat bahwa presentase ketuntasan belajar mengalami peningkatan. Pada akhir siklus I didapatkan nilai rata-rata sebesar 71,66 dengan presentase ketuntasan belajar sebesar 73,33%. Sedangkan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 77,66 dan presentase ketuntasan belajar sebesar 86,66%. Perolehan skor rata-rata aktivitas siswa siklus I baru mencapai 72% kemudian meningkat menjadi 88% pada siklus II. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model pembelajaran Group Investigation di SMK Teuku Umar Semarang dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa.

The Learning process is still an obstacle in SMK Teuku Umar Semarang is a lack of active student engagement in learning. From the early observation on the subject of learning to apply basic communication skills in vocational classes Semarang Teuku Umar kelas XI AP-1, the data showed that the minimal completeness still as many as 40% of student have not achieved the minimum criteria for completeness.
