PERSEPSI GURU ADMINISTRASI PERKANTORAN TENTANG PENGGUNAAN DAN EKSISTENSI STENOGRAFI

Abstract

Persepsi guru dalam dunia pendidikan perlu adanya perhatian, karena dengan persepsi guru mampu menentukan bagaimana sikap dan perilaku yang harus diambil terhadap apa yang dipersepsikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana persepsi guru administrasi perkantoran tentang penggunaan dan eksistensi stenografi di Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) swasta kelompok bisnis dan manajemen se kota Semarang. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian survei, penelitian ini merupakan penelitian populasi dengan jumlah 39 guru yang tersebar di 11 Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) swasta kelompok bisnis dan manajemen di kota Semarang. Pengumpulan data menggunakan metode angket dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dengan menggunakan statistik deskriptif. Hasil penelitian 1) persepsi guru administrasi perkantoran tentang penggunaan dan eksisitensi stenografi ditinjau dari faktor internal:  perhatian guru tentang penggunaan dan eksistensi stenografi masuk dalam kategori kurang perhatian dengan nilai indeks sebesar 69,59, motivasi guru dalam menggunakan stenografi masuk dalam kategori kurang termotivasi dengan nilai indeks sebesar 54,28. 2) persepsi guru administrasi perkantoran tentang penggunaan dan eksisitensi stenografi ditinjau dari faktor eksternal: situasi/kondisi lingkungan saat proses persepsi berlangsung masuk dalam kategori kurang mendukung dengan nilai indeks sebesar 67,19, informasi yang diperoleh guru mengenai penggunaan dan eksistensi stenografi masuk dalam kategori kurang baik dengan nilai indeks sebesar 54,90

Teachers’ perceptionin education need their attention, because its perception is the able to determine how the attitudes and behaviours which should be taken against what is perceived. The purposes of this research was to know teachers’ perceptions towards the use and existence of stenography in Private Vocational Swcondary School of Semarang of business and management groups. This type of research is a survey research, this study is population with the number of 39 teachers in 11 Private Vocational Secondary School of Semarang of business and management groups. Data were collected by using questionnaires and documentation method. Analysis using descriptive statistics. The results of the study 1) teachers' perceptions about the use of administrative offices and the existence of its shorthand terms of internal factors: the teacher's attention on the use and existence of stenography in the category of less concern with a score of 69.59, the motivation of teachers in using shorthand in the category less motivated by values an index of 54.28. 2) teachers' perceptions about the use of administrative offices and the existence of its shorthand terms of external factors: the situation / condition of the environment during the process of perception takes place in the category of less supportive with a score of 67.19, teacher information obtained regarding the use and existence of stenography in the category less both with a score of 54.90.
